Dear CSSCAMP community,
I hope you and your loved ones stay healthy and strong, and my best wishes to those directly affected with a prompt recovery. My heart goes out to all the victims.
On behalf of CSSCAMP, I would like to extend my thanks to you all for your kindness, patience, and empathy over the past weeks, and to reassure you of my absolute commitment to everyone who bought a pass for the conference. Today we're making two big announcements about this year's event .
First, after examining the alternatives and closely following official guidelines we have decided to postpone the conference, which will now take place on the July 14th 2021 at Fira Barcelona.
This decision has been reached as the only way to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all attendees, our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, collaborators and team. We have to consider always the people first above any other practical consideration. We won’t ask anybody to prioritize a conference commitment over their physical or mental health.
All passes that have been bought will be valid for CSSCAMP 2021. Ticket holders will be contacted directly via email on June 4th, with information on the exclusive benefits created for those who wish to carry them to next year’s edition, or, for those unable to attend, how to claim a refund.
Second, CSSCAMP continues to be active in 2020 with CSSCAMP Live! An innovative new format designed for our current situation. It will be a series of online mini-conferences where all our attendees will play an active role, side by side, engaging with peers from local and international communities and staying in the loop of what's working now and what's coming next.
I encourage you to stay tuned over the summer for new details of CSSCAMP Live! as well as CSSCAMP 2021, and look forward to seeing you soon virtually this year, and in-person next July 2021, to once again celebrate it in Barcelona — We will get through this, together.
Thank you once again for your support, patience, and trust.
